Thank you for being a valued patient of Central Florida Bone & Joint Institute. We are vigilantly following all recommended guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. While we will remain open to care for our patients, we have adopted the CDC’s guideline to reduce exposure for our patients, staff, and doctors.
We are asking all patients to cancel or reschedule their upcoming appointments if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, or other respiratory symptoms. If you have traveled to or from a red zone identified by CDC as China, Iran, South Korea, Europe, the United Kingdom, or Ireland, we will need to cancel your upcoming appointment. We are also asking you to cancel your appointment if you have been in contact with someone who traveled to the red zone or has experienced flu or cold-like symptoms. COVID-19 can be spread even when the person does not have symptoms. We are asking patients who have compromised immune systems to reduce your exposure by staying home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
You may call our office to reschedule anytime between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m Monday-Friday. We are experiencing higher than normal call volume, so if we are unable to answer your call, try calling again.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have, as your protection remains of utmost importance. If you would like to wait for your appointment outside for your own protection, you may request from our staff to call you on your cell phone when the doctor is ready to see you.
